KITS - (Character Creation)
Each of the different planets produces individuals with different skills. These are what we call ‘kits’. For example, Martians are better at fighting, Terrans have a very good knack of healing species of any planet, and some Venusians are gifted with psychic powers. Each kit has five different abilities. However, you can play ‘off kit’ and choose any four abilities from the off-kit list to use instead. Some Terrans train long and hard in the art of war but will never be as good as a Martian-Born Fighter. Equally, some Martians have actually managed to work out how to heal each other, but usually not very well.
Basic Skills
Species from all 3 planets have the following basic skills:
- Use any weapon up to 18” and call SINGLE DAMAGE using it.
- Guns may also be used by any species to call SINGLE DAMAGE.

Off-Kit Picks
Instead of picking a kit, you may instead pick any *four* of the following abilities, regardless of your planet of origin:
- Ranged Weapon Training – you may call double damage with a melee weapon.
- Melee Weapon Training – you may call double damage with a ranged weapon
- Toughness – you add +2 hit to your base total. You may pick this twice to add +4 hits
- Light Armour Training – you may wear light armour. This adds 4 hits to your total. You must Phys-Rep armour that covers at least your chest and abdomen.
- Basic Healing – you may heal anyone for one point of damage. This MUST be roleplayed and takes 30 seconds. You can also stop others from bleeding to death. You can do this 6 times per adventure. You must phys-rep a healing kit in order to use this skill.
- Resistance – you MAY resist one special call done against you at an event. You may pick this skill twice to resist TWO special calls done against you at an event
- Electronics – you can take apart and put together anything with electronics as a base. You may also be able to hack into these items and change how they work. You must phys-rep an electronics kit in order to use this skill.
- Mechanic – you can pilot a ship, use communications devices, interface with consoles and repair autobots. You may also be able to hack into these items and change how they work. You must phys rep a mechanics kit in order to use this skill.

Special Weapon Training - you may choose one of the following calls.
Each one may be used ONCE per adventure for Guns OR Melee Weapons:
Strikedown, Paralyse, Impale, Disarm, Repel, Crush. You may pick this
skill twice to choose two calls instead of one
